Established in 2003,Inle Resort & Spa,was created by a totally private owner,U Hla Aung ,an authentic Shan national entreprenor and since that time operate as 4* resort.

He and his wife were willing to demonstrate the Shan tradition and provide service and hospitality to excellence.

The resort reflect their real commitment to their dream of nature and land-scape for a total immersion and integration in the lush & luxuriant created hand-made created gardens in respect with the local plants & trees.

The first buit 60 “Villas and Garden Cottages” were totally renovated in 2015,keeping the mix of tradition design with the addition of modern fixtures to provide the comfort expected from a 4* Resort.

Later,in 2014,30 more lovely “Deluxe rooms” were added to accomodate in perpetual influx of newer guests.

And finally,were added 64 “Economy Rooms”,in 2017,to allow all kind of budgets to have the chance to enjoy the wonderful environment and access to all amenities.

Since opening,Inle Resort & Spa has been proud of employing 95% from local community.Promoting a strict policy of No social gender or racial discrimination.Protection against child labour,no employee is younger than 18 years. All kind of construction crew & material are sourced locally.Attentive policy of using local products & meterials in order to have the minimum impact on climate and to reduce at the minimum our carbon print.

Using Rain showers in all rooms,LED and energy saving lights,segregation of wastage and garbage,not using any chemical fertilizer,etc..Will ensure you that in addition to be in a magical environment,you also participate and add your touch of “Protecting the Planet”.
